Swain Ski Patrol Is Looking For A Few Good Men And Women
The Swain Ski patrol is accepting applications for the 2009-2010 ski season. We need advanced intermediate to expert skiers who are willing to complete first aid and ski/toboggan training and can meet a schedule of weekly skiing at Swain.
The first aid training begins in August and is completed in November. Ski/toboggan training begins in December and is completed in February.
We are a volunteer organization, but membership includes a season pass at Swain and season passes for immediate family for a nominal fee. Members also receive industry discounts on ski equipment. Annual dues for membership in the National Ski Patrol and local organization are approximately $65 per year and there is a fee for the first aid course and materials of approximately $200 during the first training year.
