With heat at 93 and humidity at 110, 64 intrepid, sweltering region patrollers and guests braved Shadow Pines for another blazing time of fun and golf (yes, the two can go together!)
This year we expanded our region roll-call with a searing team from Swain (Eldridge, Cassidy, Donnelly, Johnson) that took first place honors for the 18 hole round! In addition to a great turn-out of Bristol patrollers and alumni, we had representation from Hunt Hollow, Nordic, Powder Mill, BMSP instructors and the Doyle family and guests. The Conklin/Hengstler team scorched the back 9 for the short course win.
We had some very generous sponsors. Prize donations from patroller/courtesy staff members included Jerry Sherman, Rocco Pietropaolo, Jim Franco, Marcia Mundrick, Jan Scott and Rachel Miller.
