Bristol Mountain dedicated a memorial bench in honor of Dick Doyle at their last meeting, designed by Mike Morgan and Bill Gottermeier. Funding was supported by the region's invitational Golf Gathering last year. So thanks to all those who attended and had a great time to boot! We had Genesee Valley Nordics, Alumnis and some Hunt Hollow winners in the group. It's not too late to sign up this year for the golfing event on Friday June 6. Make up a team or we'll put you in with some other skiing enthusiasts who have to find something to do in the off-season!!

The Region Senior S&T Evaluation was held on 3/2/08 at Bristol.Thanks to S&T Advisor Jeff Baker, all of the T/E's and the candidates for all their hard work, and to Bristol Mountain and the Bristol Ski Patrol for hosting the event. Pictures are HERE.
The Region Senior EMM Evaluation was held on 3/1/08 at Brantling. Thanks to EMM Advisor Bonnie Andre and all of the T/E's (including 2 from WNY), the IP's and the candidates for all their hard work, and to Brantling and the Brantling Ski Patrol for hosting the event and providing a great barbecued chicken lunch. Pamm Ferguson, outgoing National Board Member, was presented with a National Distinguished Service Award by RD Mike Lord.

Henry Williams was honored for his long service to the Hunt Hollow Patrol, including his significant fundraising support for the Hunt Hollow Patrol Building, by having the Patrol Building named for him. It will henceforth be known as the Williams Building. |
